Route To G-Land Beach
G-Land or Plengkung Beach is located in Alas Purwo National Park (East End of Java Island). To get to G-Land / Plengkung beach can be reached by land route and sea route.
By land way we can use public transportation from direction Banyuwangi visitor can take bus to Kalipahit (about 196.850 feet), from Kalipahit followed by ride motorcycle taxi to Anyar Market which is about 13.123 feet, from Anyar Market visitors can ride pick-up car to Post Pancur (About 49.212 feet distance). Arriving at Pancur post, both public and private vehicles must be parked and should not continue the trip to Plengkung Beach.
From Post Pancur visitors have two options to reach Plengkung Beach. Walk 29.527 feet to Plengkung Beach or rent a special vehicle provided by the manager of Alas Purwo National Park.
The trip to Plengkung Beach is quite heavy and needs extra effort because the road is not smooth (offroad) and not paved. This is considering the location of Plengkung Beach located within the national park, not allowed to change the natural contours. In addition, it is said that this road offroad is also useful to minimize theft of timber.
With these conditions visitors are not allowed to bring the vehicle directly to the beach Plengkung. On the contrary, road access to Plengkung is used as a suggestion of empowering the surrounding community by managing transportation to Plengkung using a modified pickup car to load passengers.
