A Brief History of Gunung Leuser National Park
Around the year 1920, a researcher who is also a Dutch geologist named F.C. Van Heurn was granted permission to undertake research and also explore the natural wealth of oil and minerals in Aceh by the Government of the Dutch Colonies.
